you know, i have been checking the artwork of my friend of deviantart, and i could apreciate most of them say comments like: my icky dviation, i dont know how to shading, other friends are better drawer than me. so

i told i gonna do a tutorial so, there it is.

im not an expert drawing and coloring, but i studied a lot of tutoriars which help me to do best my picks. so

this tutorial i dedicated to all artist who wants to know how to shading. (sorry, mi english is bad)

as you can see, i made 4 four diferents kinds of shading

made the inuyasha's drawing, very nice sasa


(1) i dont know how to say, i did the shading this like he was iluminated by a lamp. when we wants to do shadows we must chosse when the light have to come, in this case the light is over inuyasha.

(2) in this case, the ligh are inthe inuyasha left side, you can apreciate the light only touch the 50% of the body

(3) this is my favorite because he looks like he going to attack the light. ass you can see, i hide all the left arm of inu whit a shadow, there are only light around it because the light is under him.

(4) as you can see, the light is completly over inuyasha, all his foot are hide because his pants are too big and dont let the light travel over there. ( i hate my english)

other good tip is, when you want to do shading, you can use a lamp, shut down the lights, and whatch yourself on the mirror whit the lamp, and check how the lights and shadows travels arround you face, trust me, i do it

well i hope this tutorial was soo helpfull for you people, and i hope you could understand my english

i will do the same tutorial in spanish whit other drawing soon.
